ScanFix®

ScanFix® is a software only image enhancer, which is compatible with all scanner and OCR packages. ScanFix® applications include OCR, Forms Processing, Document Imaging and Storage, Faxing and Image Compression. ScanFix requires no training or templates. It executes all functions dynamically, and the functions may be adjusted, or turned off. The functions are: DeSkew (up to 20% skew), Registration (positioning) for precise fielding, Line Removal (with character repair), DeShade & DeSpeck removes dot-type shading and stray specks, Inverse Text Correction (normalizes text) and more. Optional features: AutoRotate, Intelligent Cropping, and Character Smoothing Applications, toolkits (easily integratable into OEM applications), OS/2 toolkits, SCO, SunOS, HP-9000 and Silicon Graphics UNIX toolkits.
